Samuel Eto’o Finds the Net in Chelsea’s 4-1 Over Cardiff


Chelsea striker, Samuel Eto’o finally scored his long awaited premier league goal for Chelsea, and was involved in a strange assist leading to Eden Hazard’s goal.   Cardiff city caused a scare early in the first half, as Jordon Mutch was able to get a goal due to bad defending from Chelsea.

Within Minutes, Samuel Eto’o took the ball away from Cardiff’s skipper, David Marshall as he bounced the ball.  Eto’o snatched away the ball, and passed it to Hazard for Chelsea’s equalizer.  Eto’o pressed on, and finally scored his long awaited goal to put Chelsea ahead in the 66th minute.  Not long after, Chelsea Coach, Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands for improper conduct, but that did not stop Chelsea from getting two more goals.

Chelsea now seats 2nd to Arsenal on the table, equal on goal difference and only behind by two points.  The team will be traveling to Germany to take on Schalke in the Champions League on Wednesday.  Chelsea is currently 3rd in their Champions League group after a surprise home loss to Basel.
